An Explosive event through a series of turns, pivoting on one foot and reaching, touching down with the other, while maintaining balance with the Hammer and its changing orbits. By the throwers athleticism and execution through the final turn, release and watching it fly to the field. "This is the World of Throwing Hammer."​.

Age groups: Youth, Open and Masters Entry Fee: $15 for the first event, $5.00 for each additional event (must be registered member of the USATF day of the meet.USATF card required – if age is not verified on your USATF card, one of the following is required for proof of ageProof of Age: A copy of a birth certificate, certified baptismal record, passport, U.S. Military I.D., or driver’s licenseOrder of Field events: Hammer – Shotput – Weight ThrowingEach athlete will be responsible for his/her own throwing implement.
